Autumn is a magical time of year. Pumpkins signify the end of harvest and the onset of winter — not just Halloween. We are opening the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday 10 October 2026 for 3 weekends, the last day being Sunday 25 October 2026.
Open times: 10am – 4pm

Pumpkin Patch
We have 3 Pumpkin Patches overlooking the beautiful countryside of Abergavenny, with scarecrows, 2 maize trails and plenty of photo opportunities on site.
Variety of Pumpkins
We have a selection of pumpkin varieties — some have grown very big despite this year's dry weather. All are grown in the field where you pick them, great for Halloween, autumnal decoration or for cooking. Prices vary according to size from £3–£15. A card machine is available on site for payment of the pumpkins. Sorry, no dogs are permitted on site.
Entry and Maize Trail
The gate fee is £5 per car or group of up to 5 on foot/bus — please bring cash for the gate. There is no need to book, but if you would like to let us know you are coming there is a booking form on this website. Please note: if we are busy, those who have booked will be guaranteed entry. In addition to pumpkins we also have 2 large Maize Trails which are free to explore as part of the entrance fee.

This year our daughter is providing refreshments — tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks, along with a few snacks. All reasonably priced. We have a unisex portable toilet available on site. The site can be accessed by wheelchair and we can make parking available near the patch.
Green 2 Earth Flowers and Vegetables
We also have a border of autumnal flowers and a demonstration 'No Dig' vegetable patch — for those interested in seeing how our Green 2 Earth Composted Soil Improver can help you grow your own vegetables or produce flower beds with minimal effort and watering.
